Keeping Your Child Out of Gangs

  1. Do not allow your child to hang around with other gang or suspected gang members
  2. Know who your child's friends are
  3. Know what your child is doing during their free time
  4. Keep good communication skills with your child
  5. Spend time with your child
  6. Become aware of gang style clothing and do not allow your child to wear them.
  7. Teach your child to respect others and their property
  8. be aware of gang and drug activities in your community
  9. Do not allow your child to write gang names or graffiti
  10. Give your child limits
  11. Be in formed
