Some warning signs your child may be involved in gangs or gang activities are...

1. A change in behavior and lifestyle
2. Drug and or alcohol use
3. Hanging out with different friends
4. Grades dropping
5. Truancy
6. Staying out late
7. Gang writing or graffiti in their bedroom
8. Unable to explain large sums of money or expensive items
9. Wearing gang clothing or colors (e.g., Blue or Red)
10. Pictures of gang members, gang slogans, gang insignia, or gang activities.
11. Using hand signals to communicate with other gang members
12. Gang tattoos or gang insignias
13. Admitting to being a gang member.
