Get a Copy of a Police Report
There are times when a police report may not be released. If a case is still under investigation, or for certain legal reasons, your request for a particular report may not be fulfilled. Also, there are certain restrictions on who may obtain a police report. Sometimes the reports contain confidential information that cannot be released to certain individuals.
Reports may be released to the public either by mail or in person during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday).
Cost: The fee for a police report is $8.00 for the first four pages and $.50 for each page after that.
