Partnership With The Community And Problem Solving (C.O.P.P.S.)
Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (C.O.P.P.S.) is a practiced philosophy that develops partnerships between the citizens, businesses, police, and other government agencies. These partnerships take a pro-active problem solving approach to issues challenging the quality of life within our community..
In essence all police officers with the City of Red Bluff are Community Police Officers. In order to give you a single source contact we have assigned specific Community Police Officers to represent various geographic areas of the City. These areas are organized by areas numbered "1" to "5". To check to see who your "Area Sergeant" is click on the Area Map.
These individuals will work with you to address the issues of concern with your neighborhood. Just phone or e-mail them for assistance, (530) 527-3131. You can e-mail Chief Capilla, scapillat@rbpdorg or phone him at (530) 527-8282 to let him know about issues you feel are unresolved.
By working together we can make our community a safer and more desirable place to live and work while providing our community's "Quality of Life."
