ANIMAL CONTROL

The City of Red Bluff continues to contract with the Tehama County Animal Control services for the Animal Shelter. The Red Bluff Police Department’s Community Service Officers handle a vast majority of all animal control calls within the City of Red Bluff.

Some City Regulations About Dogs

All dogs above the age of 4 months are required to have their rabies shots and a City License.

There is a limit of 3 adult dogs per household.

To maintain more than 3 adult dogs you must apply for a kennel license at City Hall.

There is a leash law within the City of Red Bluff, all dogs must be on a leash or restrained at all times.

Stray dogs will be picked up and a fee will be charged to retrieve them from the animal shelter.
